In a small bowl, combine beef, salsa, and about half of the shredded cheese.
If needed, scoop out a little avocado from each half to make room for the filling. Add this extra avocado to your taco filling mixture along with 1 teaspoon of the lime juice and stir to combine.
Sprinkle the prepared avocado halves with lime juice. Divided filling evenly between the two avocado halves. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
Air Fryer Method: Place taco stuffed avocados in air fryer, and cook at 370F for 4-6 minutes or until cheese is melted and filling is heated through.
Broiler Method: Place taco stuffed avocados on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Place under broiler for 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and filling is heated through.
Oven Method: Place taco stuffed avocados on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper. Bake at 425F for 6-8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and filling is heated through.
Serve immediately. If desired, add additional toppings like sour cream, pico de gallo, and/or fresh cilantro.
